BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Kliment Shopov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Vazrazhdane for Sliven's 21st multi-member constituency, the party press service said here Saturday.

Shopov is an industrial engineer by education and graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He was born on 16 July 1992 in Montreal.

He is chair of Vazrazhdane - Sliven and a member of the last three National Assemblies of Bulgaria, the party said. He speaks English and French.

Within his parliamentary work, he has been a member of the Vazrazhdane parliamentary group, deputy chair of the Committee on Economic Policy and Innovation and member of the Committee on the Policies for Bulgarians Abroad, as well as a member of the delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
