The Parliamentary Group of Velichie on Wednesday issued a declaration regarding the 2026 State Budget Bill, calling it “corrupt and inept.” The statement was read from the rostrum of the National Assembly by Velichie's Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov. 

Mihaylov commented that attention is being skillfully and cleverly diverted from the fact that an illegitimate government is once again producing a budget, despite being “a hundred times unqualified to do anything.” 

“We see parties beginning to argue whether it is left or right, whether left or right policies are needed, and they forget to say the main thing, that it is corrupt and inept,” the leader of Velichie said, describing next year's draft budget. According to him, this diverts people’s attention. 

“What happens every single day in this country is robbery, ruin and the dumbing down of people, and it is solely and exclusively the fault of all the parties in the National Assembly. We are all responsible for this, including me,” he said. 

He appealed to people across the country. “We cannot stop the budget, we cannot dissolve the National Assembly on our own, but locally we can strike them at every point where you give us accurate information about their crimes, and we will make sure those people are held accountable,” Mihaylov added.
