Traffic is normal at all border control checkpoints with the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkiye, according to the General Directorate Border Police based on data as of 6:00 am on Tuesday morning.

At the border with Romania, the ferry serving the Oryahovo–Bechet border crossing, which ceased operations on August 22, 2025, due to the low water level of the Danube River, is still not operational. Drivers are advised to use alternative border crossings.

Major repairs are being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, resulting in temporary traffic arrangements. Traffic is limited to a single lane.

At the border with Greece, the road to Xanthi via Zlatograd will be closed on Greek territory to all vehicles until September 13, 2025, due to repair works. During this period, it is recommended to use the Makaza crossing.

On the road on the Greek side along the Rudozem–Xanthi route, construction activities are underway. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and that entry by unauthorized persons is prohibited.
