Traffic is normal at most border crossing checkpoints with neighbouring countries, Border Police said on Saturday morning.

On the border with Romania, the major repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is continuing and traffic is regulated by employees of the contractor. Traffic is normal at other border crossings. 

At checkpoint Stanke Lisichkovo, on the border with North Macedonia, a complete reconstruction is being carried out. In connection with the renovation work, a limited number of routes are being used to cross the checkpoint. Traffic is normal at the other border crossing points.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points at the borders with Turkiye and Serbia.

Construction works are ongoing on the road from the Greek side at the destination Rudozem - Xanthi. The Greek authorities have put up signs indicating that the area is a construction site, and no outsiders are allowed to enter. 

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
