The Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna has trained hundreds of officers, owing to whom Bulgaria's maritime border is most secure and has never been violated, the Academy Rector, Flotilla Admiral Kalin Kalinov, said at a celebration of the institution's 144th anniversary.
