Naval personnel from six countries conducted joint training in sea mine disposal, the press office of the Bulgarian Navy in Varna said on Thursday.

The training took place as part of the Triton 2025 diving exercise, held in Bulgarian territorial waters. The final review of the exercise was conducted at the Naval Base in Varna, where it was reported that the exercise had been successful and all pre-set objectives were achieved.

Over several days, the diving teams carried out a range of tasks, with their joint operations helping to refine their skills in line with NATO procedures and standards. Their work, which included underwater explosive operations, also contributed to enhanced operational interoperability in responding to mine threats at sea, the Navy noted.
