Turkish police seized around 300,000 narcotic pills and 48 kg of raw materials for the production of synthetic drugs in a police operation in the city of Bursa, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on social media.
Three people were arrested in the raids and charged with involvement in illegal drug trafficking. The court ordered the arrest of two of the detainees, while the third was placed under judicial supervision.
The operation against drug trafficking was carried out by teams of the Anti-Narcotics and Organized Crime Department to the Directorate of Security, in coordination with the Bursa Governor's Office and the city's Public Prosecution Office.
