site.btaPlovdiv to Host 9th UN Global Conference on Wine Tourism

Plovdiv, South Central Bulgaria, will host the 9th UN Global Conference on Wine Tourism on October 6 and 7. Delegates from 160 countries, members of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will participate in the forum. On Thursday, Parliament unanimously approved two readings of the bill to ratify the agreement between the Bulgarian government and the UNWTO.

The forum is expected to attract leading wine tourism experts from around the world, ministers of leading wine producing countries, and media. The Ministry of Tourism pointed out that organizing this event will allow Bulgaria to participate in the debate on the development of the wine tourism industry.
