site.btaRomanian Airline Launches Regular Direct Flights Between Bucharest and Sofia

Romanian airline AnimaWings launched direct flights between Bucharest and Sofia, the company said its on its website. The new route will be operational as of October 1, 2025, with flights scheduled five times a week, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. Ticket prices start at EUR 74.99 one way, with hand luggage included.

Currently, the only direct flights between the two capitals are operated by Romanian carrier TAROM.

AnimaWings is a 100% Romanian company operating on the Romanian market since 2020. It is part of the Memento Group, according to information available on its corporate website. The airline operates both domestic and international scheduled flights, as well as charter services.
