site.btaCode Yellow for High Temperatures Issued for Entire Country

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) issued a yellow code for high temperatures for the entire country for Wednesday.

On Wednesday the weather will be sunny again, and hot around and after noon, with light to moderate north-northwesterly wind. The highs will be between 34C and 39C, 34C in Sofia.

The weather in the mountains will be sunny, with light to moderate north-northwesterly wind. The highs at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be about 29C, 20C at 2,000 metres.

The weather along the Black Sea coast will also be sunny, with light to moderate east-southeasterly wind. Highs will be between 28C and 32C. Sea water temperature will be 21-24C.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology also issued a warning for high temperatures in the country on Thursday, with yellow and orange warning codes  in individual areas.
