site.btaSatirical Theatre to Stage Its First Performance for Blind Persons

For the first time in the history of the Satirical Theatre, a performance with audio description will be performed for blind spectators - a step towards an accessible and inclusive cultural life, the Theatre announced on Monday.

The event will take place on June 23, where Dramedy Theatre will present The Four Agreements, a stage adaptation of the book by Don Miguel Ruiz.

“The audio description, provided as a social service by the Creators Association, will make it possible for blind people to experience theatrical magic. Driven by the idea that theatre is for everyone, the event sets a strong example of inclusion, respect and equal access to culture. This is a historic act of responsibility and development of the Bulgarian theatre system," the Satirical Theatre said.
