From the very beginning its main priority has been the formation of professional artists in various fields of fine and applied arts, in design, art history and restoration. The Academy welcomes students in two faculties: of Fine Arts and of Applied Arts and Design. Applicants sit for entrance exams and are selected by an admission committee on the basis of creative competitions.
