The Burgas Connectivity Forum 2025 will be held on June 19 at the International Congress Centre in Burgas. The event, organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation - Bulgaria, will be held under the motto Connecting Nations and will focus on the Black Sea region.

The forum will bring together participants from 14 countries, including representatives from academia, business, NGOs, politics, diplomacy and international institutions. The main theme this year is multi-layered connectivity. Discussions will address key areas such as energy integration, regional cooperation, economic growth through partnerships, maritime and air connectivity, digital infrastructure, tourism and water resource management.

Invitations to participate have been sent to a number of officials and international experts, including Alexander Beribes, Head of the Directorate for the Wester Balkans and Southeast Europe Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Berlin, and Irene Maria Plank, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria, Brandusa Ioana Predescu, Ambassador of Romania to Bulgaria, Manuela Naessl, Head of Bulgaria, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) and Sonja Miekley, CEO German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Representatives of the Energy and Tourism Ministries are also expected to attend.
