Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov arrived at the Federal Chancellery in Vienna, Austria, for an official visit at the invitation of Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker. The welcoming ceremony was adjusted in line with Austria’s three-day national mourning, declared in memory of the victims of the recent attack at a secondary school in the city of Graz.
Later on Thursday, Zhelyazkov and Stocker will meet to discuss opportunities for deepening political and economic cooperation, as well as issues currently on the European agenda. The bilateral meeting will be followed by a plenary session between the two delegations.
On June 13, Prime Minister Zhelyazkov will take part in the 29th Europa-Forum Wachau, held under the theme “Facing Challenges – Embracing Visions.” Established in 1995 to mark Austria’s accession to the EU, the forum is a long-standing platform for dialogue on European affairs.
