The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP) supports the Little People of Bulgaria National Organization and the social services it provides, as well as the maintenance and renovation of its facilities, says Social Affairs Minister Borislav Gutsanov during his visit to the center for integration, rehabilitation and social activities for little people here on Thursday.

The demonstration hall of the center shows an oversized model of a trolleybus, a high-set table and chair, an ATM, and a payment counter positioned at an inaccessible height to simulate the daily challenges faced by people of short stature. 

The Center is funded by the Operational Programme Human Resources Development and offers therapeutic physical exercises, advocacy, job placement assistance, referrals to appropriate social services, individual support, consultations, and training. As a result of the project, more than 100 adults with disabilities and 12 children have received social and healthcare services, while 31 individuals have either started looking for or found employment.
