It currently has full members from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland. Croatia, Hungary, and Slovenia are associate members. The route aims to include 21 countries.

The Cyrillo-Methodian Research Centre at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences joined the network in 2020, followed by the Veliki Preslav Archaeological Museum in 2023.
