Velichie Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov argued that GERB-UDF Floor Leader Boyko Borissov and Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski took the decision to reject President Rumen Radev's proposal for referendum on the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria in 2026. Mihaylov told the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) on Tuesday that "they are ordering National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova what to do". 

"We want their resignation and that is why tomorrow we will propose to the parties MECh (Morality, Unity, Honour), DRF (Democracy, Rights and Freedoms) and Vazrazhdane our vote of no confidence, which has 1,244 pages of evidence on the failure of this Government to comply with its obligations to protect the environment and water," Mihaylov said.
