Next week, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov together with Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev will report on the first indicators for the implementation of the Cabinet's governance programme in the last two months, the Prime Minister said during Friday's Question Time in Parliament. He was taking a question from Stanislav Anastasov MP of MRF - New Beginning, who requested information on what the detailed programme of the Council of Ministers is, as well as the legislative programme, so that "the National Assembly can start working to solve people's problems".
He recalled that the programme for the 2025-2029 period was adopted by Council of Ministers decision in February and is publicly available on the Council of Ministers' website.
"On the basis of this programme, the Council of Ministers adopted a legislative programme, which will be discussed with the representatives of the [ruling] coalition on May 13, at the Joint Governance Council. We have the assurance of parliamentary support for all sectoral legislation. If we receive this support, we will make a statement accordingly," Zhelyazkov said.
He added that three types of measures are set out in the programme: short-term, medium-term, and until the end of the Government's term in office in 2029.
