Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Turkiye and Serbia, the Border Police said on Monday morning.

On the Rudozem–Xanthi route to Greece, construction work is still ongoing on the Greek side. Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the terrain is a construction site and that non-personnel are not allowed to enter the site.

Only passenger cars and minibuses of up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints.

The major repairs of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse continue, which is why a temporary traffic organization has been introduced. Traffic is carried out in one lane with a through-traffic regime and is regulated by employees of the contractor company. Traffic is normal at the other border checkpoints with Romania.

At the Stanke Lisichkovo border crossing point on the border with North Macedonia, a complete reconstruction is being carried out and the crossing is carried out on a limited number of routes. Traffic is normal at the other border crossing points.
