A major repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is being carried out, due to which a temporary traffic organization has been introduced, the Border Police General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior said on its website. Traffic is carried out in one lane with a through traffic regime and is regulated by employees of the contractor. Traffic is normal at other border crossings with Romania, the Border Police added.

At the Stanke Lisichkovo border crossing point (BCP) on the border with North Macedonia, a complete reconstruction of the BCP is being carried out and the crossing is carried out on a limited number of routes. Traffic is normal at the other border crossing points.

Traffic is also normal at the border crossing points with Serbia and Turkiye.

At the border with Greece, on the road from the Greek side on the destination Rudozem - Xanthi, construction works are being carried out, the Border Police added. The Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed to enter the site. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
