Justice Minister Georgi Georgiev announced plans for stringent regulations on arbitration courts in Bulgaria. This includes the introduction of a register, stricter notification rules, and increased due diligence requirements to prevent the rise of "sham" arbitrations, similar to those already identified in the country. Georgiev made his statement during a briefing at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.

The justice minister also ordered a full review of the arbitration courts that have raised concerns within the Ministry.
