Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov welcomed the participants in the Second Global Conference of the Geiger Project, which is being held in Bulgaria at the initiative of INTERPOL. Bulgaria's hosting of the event, which brings together working groups from the Black Sea, Caucasus, Southeast Asia and Africa regions, is a kind of recognition of the country's efforts in effectively countering organised crime - a result achieved through cooperation with colleagues from Interpol, Stoyanov said in his speech.
