Twenty-four cultural figures were awarded the Golden Quill Award on the eve of May 24, the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and of Slav Letters.. The artists received their honoures at an official ceremony on Tuesday evening at the National Music Theatre in Sofia. In honor of each of this year's laureates, 24 trees will be planted in the Kambanite park-complex.
