Outgoing Finance Minister and Continue the Change Co-leader Assen Vassilev told journalists on Wednesday, commenting on the upcoming rotation in the prime minister's post and possible changes in the government's composition, that his personal expectations are for very small changes in the Cabinet line-up. Vassilev said he expects a "maximum of two or three" cabinet changes.

"Talks with Mariya Gabriel are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We hope to be able to reach an agreement in this order," Vassilev said. He commented that he had had talks with both outgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel.

"The Finance Ministry has implemented absolutely all the measures that were set out in the programme. The only outstanding measure is the second payment under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, but the non-implementation there is because the roadmap and the rules for the selection of the anti-corruption commission have been maturing since February. Parliament has to vote on them so we can complete the process of the second payment," Vassilev said.

According to him, there is no time for long negotiations between the first two political formations in Parliament.
