March 5: Cloudy, with rain showers mainly in Southern Bulgaria. The rain will be abundant in isolated areas in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains and in the southeast of the country. Wind east-northeasterly, moderate, bringing cold air. Lows: 3 C to 8 C, in Sofia 6 C. Highs: 8 C to 13 C, in Sofia 10 C.

The coast: Cloudy. Low visibility conditions in the morning. Rain in the afternoon, primarily along the southern stretch of the coastline. The rain will be intense in some areas. Wind east-northeasterly, moderate. Highs: 8 C to 11 C. Sea water temperatures: 8 C to 9 C. Sea waves: 2 to 3 degrees Douglas.

The mountains: Cloudy and rainy; elevations of over 1,600 m will have snow. Isolated areas in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains, Mt Strandzha and Mt Sakar will get considerable amounts of precipitation. Wind east-northeasterly, moderate and temporarily strong. Highs: 4 C at 1,200 m above sea level, 0 C at 2,000 m.
