site.btaSofia Hosts 2nd Bulgaria Open International Taekwondo Tournament

From March 2 to 4, Sofia hosts the second edition of the Bulgaria Open G1 2024 international taekwondo tournament. Over 1,700 taekwondo practitioners from nearly 30 countries will compete in sparring and poomsae. To compete are cadets, boys and girls, men and women. 

The official opening is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and the events start at 9 a.m. on Sunday and Monday.

In a week, Bulgaria will also host  the taekwondo qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympics. From March 9 to 11, over 500 athletes will compete at the hall in Elin Pelin (Western Bulgaria).
