Parliament on Friday voted to grant allowances for special merits to the Bulgarian state and nation.
Parliamentary culture committee chair Toma Bikov said that this decision aims to compensate full-time employees of the former Concert Directorate, which was closed in 1990. They were ineligible for pensions due to lost records.
