A 4.2-magnitude earthquake hit Turkiye’s Antalya province at 12:05 pm local time on Saturday, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.

The tremor’s epicenter was in the sea near the resort. It occurred at a depth of 89 km and was felt by neighboring districts.

There are no reports of casualties or damage.

Earlier this week, Antalya was also hit by a 4.5-magnitude earthquake, according to AFAD data.

In the early hours of Saturday, two quakes with magnitudes of 3.6 and 3.8 were recorded near the city of Bodrum on the Aegean Sea. The first one occurred at 4:53 am at a depth of 9.2 km, and the second one at 4:55 am at 7.22 km. 

The earthquakes’ epicenter was in the sea near the Greek island of Kalymnos. The tremors were followed by aftershocks, causing residents to panic.
