site.btaInternational Conference on Technological Infrastructure Takes Place in Sofia

An international conference titled "Culture, Infrastructure, Mobility" is taking place in the conference hall of the Rectorate of the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. The scientific forum brings together renowned and young researchers to analyze modern technological infrastructure and its social and cultural aspects.

The conference was opened by Lyubomir Pozharliev from the University of Leipzig. Pozharliev said that the event is organized by the Department of History and Theory of Culture at the Sofia University Faculty of Philosophy and the University of Leipzig, in cooperation with Sofia University Cultural Centre, the Goethe Institut and the Human and Social Studies Foundation in Sofia.

The participants’ subjects of interest are diverse infrastructural phenomena, including railways, water pipelines, telecommunications, and digital networks.
