The real decision maker and majority that makes things happen in the country is that of GERB-UDF, Vazrazhdane and the Movement of Rights and Freedoms (MRF), BSP for Bulgaria floor leader Korneliya Ninova said from the parliamentary rostrum Thursday. The most important decisions were passed with precisely this majority, Ninova added.

According to Ninova, there are two majorities in Bulgaria – the official one of the two largest parliamentary groups, GERB-UDF and Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), and another one, including GERB-UDF, Vazrazhdane and MRF. Addressing the latter, the socialist leader said their bickering on all bills meant instability, uncertainty and lack of perspective for Bulgaria and Bulgarian citizens, as well as floating majorities. That would mean that "it cannot be guaranteed at any moment what law will come in and what law will come out in the end", Ninova said.

For all those reasons, BSP refused to participate in the talks of cabinet-formation a month ago, refusing to be used as a "fig leaf".

Speaking of the incumbent, which she calls the "coalition of immunities" while they distribute the portions of power, Ninova said the people and their concerns remain completely forgotten, while the government every day gives reason to think and proof that it does not benefit Bulgaria, but is rather a club.

Something unprecedented in Bulgarian parliamentary history happened on Wednesday, Ninova said. The GERB-UDF and CC-DB majority itself blocked their own agenda in the Legal Affairs Committee, to avoid hearing their own Justice Minister what he think about the reform in the judiciary and contrary to all logic, laws and rules.

On Wednesday. GERB, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, and Vazrazhdane blocked twice a motion for a hearing of Justice Minister Atanas Slavov, first by Parliament and then by the Legal Affairs Committee on the replacement of Ivan Geshev with Borislav Sarafov.

On Thursday, CC-DB co-floor leader Kiril Petkov said they had been extremely surprised when their motion to hear Justice Minister Atanas Slavov in Parliament had been blocked with the votes of GERB-UDF, MRF and Vazrazhdane.

"I see a stable coalition between CC-DB, MRF and GERB," Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov, said in a comment to journalists on the sidelines of the National Assembly, commenting on the developments between the partners in the incumbent government. MRF voted for this cabinet, they participate in most of the decisions that are taken and the fact that they have minor personality contradictions does not mean at all that they have serious conceptual differences. They are one divided into three. At the moment, however, they govern together, Kostadinov said.

Later in the day, MRF head Mustafa Karadayi told journalists in Parliament the comments in the National Assembly about a stable coalition between GERB-UDF, CC-DB and MRF were "insinuations".
