site.btaBulgarian Consulate General in New York Hosts Classical Concert


A classical concert took place at the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York on Wednesday, organized by the Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York (BCENY). Under the title Trios for violin, viola, and piano, violists Mujan Hosseinzadeh and Alexandrina Boyanova and pianist Peter Fancovic performed works by Rebecca Clarke, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Max Reger, and Dmitri Schostakovich.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corp, the Bulgarian community, and admirers of classical music. Bulgaria's Consul General in New York Angel Angelov welcomed the guests and informed them about the cultural calendar of the Bulgarian community in New York.
The next event from the BCENY series will be the Spring Benefit Concert featuring Bill Vasilev & Friends in a Latin Jazz Evening on April 18.
