On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), the Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES sent a message of congratulations and best wishes. 

"We would like to congratulate the whole team of the Bulgarian News Agency, one of the Europe's and the world's oldest news agencies on this festive day, to wish you good luck on your daily efforts of providing objective and quality information," AGERPRES Director General Claudia-Victoria Nicolae wrote to BTA Director General Kiril Valchev.

BTA and AGERPRES share a long history of cooperation and are partners and members of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) and the association of Balkan news agencies (ABNA-SE).
