Addressing representatives of international organizations of news agencies, of which BTA is a member on the occasion of BTA’s 125th anniversary, Vice President Iliana Iotova commended the Agency for not allowing its image be tarnished in any way since its creation 125 years ago.

“I would like to congratulate you and wish you to continue to uphold the high standards and great professionalism of true journalists - as you have always been,” Iotova said. According to her, against the backdrop of wars, conflicts, natural disasters, and pandemics, the mission of journalists is becoming more and more important.
