The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary sitting on January 31 (Tuesday), with four items on the agenda to be considered in camera, announced on Friday Deputy Chair of the National Assembly Nikola Minchev of Continue the Change from the parliamentary rostrum. 

The extraordinary session, convened by National Assembly Chair Vezhdi Rashidov, will begin with the second reading of a bill to supplement the Health Insurance Act. Another item on the agenda is a bill amending the law on ratification of the protocol on the provisional implementation of the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court. The MPs are also scheduled to discuss a draft decision on instructing the Council of Ministers to draw up a defence investment programme until 2032. 

The session will also consider the National Strategy for Youth 2021-2030, the annual reports of the State Intelligence Agency, the Defence Intelligence Service and the State Agency for National Security for 2021, and the annual report of the State Commission on Information Security on the overall state of classified information protection in Bulgaria in 2021.
