More than 25,000 pupils are studying Spanish in Bulgaria’s schools this academic year. The work of the Embassy of Spain, and specifically the work of its education department, has undoubtedly contributed to this, said Minister of Education and Science Prof. Sasho Penov at the opening of the exhibition "Higher Education in Spain", organized by the Education Department of the Embassy of Spain.

"I am convinced that the exhibition "Higher Education in Spain" will mark the beginning of the establishment of future lasting partnerships between universities. Getting acquainted with each other’s curricula will improve the learning opportunities and support for many Bulgarian students, give them a chance to get information and discover their future on their academic and professional path," Penov said.

A total of eleven Spanish universities are participating in the education fair, which is being organized at the Central Military Club in Sofia. The exhibition presents information about Spanish universities aimed at students and their families: scholarships, undergraduate programmes, postgraduate studies, exchanges, official agreements and other topics.
