Sofia, September 10 (BTA) - According to preliminary seasonally
adjusted data, released by the National Statistical Institute on
Tuesday, the turnover in 'Retail trade, except of motor
vehicles and motorcycles' at constant prices increased by 0.5
per cent in July 2014 compared to the June 2014.

In July 2014, the working day adjusted turnover in 'Retail
trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' grew by 4.0 per
cent from July 2013.

July 2014 saw month-on-month increases in 'Retail sale of
automotive fuel', by 4.2 per cent, in 'Retail sale via mail
order houses or via Internet', by 2.3 per cent, in 'Retail sale
of computers, peripheral units and software; telecommunications
equipment', by 1.3 per cent, in 'Retail sale of food, beverages
and tobacco' and in 'Retail sale of textiles, clothing, footwear
and leather goods', by 0.6 per cent each, and in 'Dispensing
chemist; retail sale of medical and orthopaedic goods, cosmetic
and toilet articles', by 0.5 per cent. Over the same period, the
turnover decreased in 'Retail sale in non-specialised stores',
by 0.7 per cent, and in 'Retail sale of audio and video
equipment; hardware, paints and glass; electrical household
appliances', by 0.1 per cent.

Year on year, the July 2014 turnover increased more
significantly in 'Retail sale via mail order houses or via
Internet', by 22.0 per cent, in 'Retail sale of automotive
fuel', by 7.1 per cent, in 'Retail sale of food, beverages and
tobacco' and in 'Retail sale of computers, peripheral units and
software; telecommunications equipment', by 5.2 per cent.
Compared to July 2013, the turnover declined in 'Retail sale in
non-specialised stores', by 2.0 per cent, and in 'Retail sale of
audio and video equipment; hardware, paints and glass;
electrical household appliances', by 0.6 per cent. ZH/LG
