A concert by No More Many More and a masterclass by Detox guitarist Ivan "Arthur" Popov are set to close the third Sofia Guitar Fest on Sunday, the organizers announced.
The forum, held from September 18 to 20 at the National Palace of Culture park, brought together professional musicians, amateurs, and people who love the guitar and live music. The festival's third edition featured concerts, masterclasses, free workshops for beginners, and the traditional mass guitar performance.
On Saturday, the festival's lead mentor, Tsvetan Nedyalkov, focused on improvisation, interaction, and creative choices in his new interactive masterclass.
Svilen Noev from the band Ostava also held a masterclass at Sofia Guitar Fest for the first time. He joined dozens of guitarists for the mass guitar performance.
The guitarists, four to seventy-two year olds, performed Shokolad (Chocolate) by Ostava, Mozhe bi (Perhaps) by Signal, Nirvana's Come As You Are, and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You together.
