site.btaUPDATED Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Take Centre Stage at Sofia Mobility Expo
A specialized Green & Mobility Expo Sofia exhibition for fully electric vehicles, hybrids and sustainable mobility open Friday and will continue through September 20 at St. Alexander Nevsky Square in central Sofia, the organizers said.
Admission is free, and opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A roundtable with representatives of the municipality, business and media is also scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
The exhibition is held in cooperation with Sofia Municipality and the Urban Mobility Center as part of European Mobility Week. Over three days, the exhibition grounds will showcase innovations, sustainable transport and technologies in Bulgaria.
The Expo is the first large-scale exhibition of its kind dedicated to sustainable urban mobility, bringing together multiple sectors. Visitors will be able to explore the latest trends in the automotive industry, electric vehicles and smart solutions for the modern city.
In a test-drive area, visitors will be able to try out the latest car models and other forms of mobility. More than 40 cars and two motorcycles have been registered for test drives.
One visitor will win the grand prize - a new electric scooter.
