site.btaBulgaria’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Wins Second Bronze in Frankfurt

Bulgaria’s rhythmic gymnastics group finished third in the three-hoop and two-pair-of-clubs final at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Frankfurt on Sunday, winning its second bronze medal in the individual apparatus finals.

Rachel Stoyanov, Margarita Vasileva, Magdalina Minevska, Magdalena Valkova, Raya Bozhilova and Emilia Obretenova earned a score of 28.750 points, including 13.600 for difficulty, 7.350 for execution and 7.800 for artistry.

Earlier in the day, the Bulgarian group finished third in the five-ball final.

Brazil won the gold medal in the mixed routine with 29.450 points. Spain took silver with 29.050.

The medal brings Bulgaria’s total at the championships to four: Stiliana Nikolova’s silver in the all-around, a silver in the team competition, and two bronze medals for the group.
