During a joint press conference held here on Tuesday with Turkiye's Interior Minister, Mustafa Ciftci, Bulgarian Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev said that Turkiye will assist Bulgaria in identifying assets acquired through corrupt activities. 

Demerdzhiev reported: "I raised the matter of the significant amounts of capital being transferred to Turkiye and other countries as a result of corrupt activities in Bulgaria. I received assurances from the Minister that Turkiye will cooperate with us in the fight against this type of crime, as well as in identifying assets acquired through these illegal means and returning them to Bulgarian citizens."
