Here is a glimpse of the International Youth Centre resort near Primorsko, on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, captured on August 5, 1966.
Nestled between Primorsko and Kiten, surrounded by sand dunes, old forest, and the Black Sea, this resort became favourite spot for vacationers from near and far. Some of the facilities exist to this day and continue to attract tourists.
Original caption reads: "The International Youth Centre is located in a bay between Primorsko and Kiten. The Dyavolska (Devil's) River separates it from Primorsko, while to the south it is bordered by an ancient forest that separates it from Kiten. Part of the area is a protected site where the sand dunes characteristic of Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast can be seen."
