The average contributory income for Bulgaria was EUR 1,033.62 in May 2026, show data released by the National Social Security Institute on Wednesday. The average monthly contributor income for the country from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026 stood at EUR 989.23.
The data is used to calculate the amounts of newly granted pensions in June 2026, in accordance with the Social Insurance Code.
In April 2026, the average contributory income was EUR 1,034.85.
