Master's students from the Digital Arts programme at the National Academy of Art (NAA) will present a 24-hour performance at Sofia's Automatic Gallery on Monday. The event will begin at noon, the Academy said.

Partners in the initiative include the Academy Gallery, the Union of Bulgarian Artists' Shipka 6 Gallery, San Stefano Gallery, Serdica Gallery, the gallery at the Iliya Petrov National School of Fine Arts, the Crystal Garden Open-Air Gallery, the Triangular Tower of Serdica at the Regional History Museum Sofia, the Cube Gallery at the Toplocentrala Centre for Contemporary Arts, Automatic Gallery, nOva Art Space, ONE Gallery, GrafikArt Gallery, UniCredit Studio, Art Centre Bankia, the Atelier Gallery of the NAA Burgas Branch, and the Sea Casino Cultural Center in Burgas.

The media partners of the Graduates project are the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Bulgarian National Radio.

The initiative is being held for the fourth year in a row and is included in the programme marking the 130th anniversary of the National Academy of Art, which was founded in 1896 as the State Drawing School.

The project aims to present the graduation works to a broad audience and establish the graduates as young artists with their own distinctive artistic style. According to the organizers, the exhibitions transform graduation into the artists' first professional appearance.

The exhibitions will feature works and projects created using both classical and contemporary artistic approaches in the visual arts, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, mural painting, poster art, book art, stage design, textiles, design, artistic wood and metalwork, ceramics, restoration, digital arts and photography.

The project is being implemented with the financial support of Sofia Municipality through its Cultural Events Calendar, with the assistance of Burgas Municipality, and within the framework of the 2026 Competition for Funding Projects in the National Academy of Art's research and artistic creative activities.
