Prime Minister Rumen Radev is expected to answer a question from Peter Petrov from Vazrazhdane about the general policy of the government regarding the long-term supply of guaranteed water quantities to the Republic of Greece, according to the programme for parliamentary question time published on the website of the National Assembly on Friday. In addition to Prime Minister Radev, ministers Rositsa Karamfilova, Ivan Shishkov, Ivan Demerdzhiev, Dimitar Stoyanov and Katya Ivkova will also participate in the regular Friday question time.

At the beginning of the session, the MPs are expected to continue with debates on the first reading of two bills for amendments to the Public Finance Act - by Progressive Bulgaria and by GERB-UDF.

Progressive Bulgaria is introducing a legal framework for the determination, control and status of primary dealers in government securities. The proposed changes are also conditioned by the need to specify the regime for the participation of licensed credit institutions and investment intermediaries in the government securities market. GERB-UDF propose that the Minister of Finance annually issue government securities intended for acquisition by individual investors, under the conditions of equal non-discriminatory access. It is also envisaged that the Ministry of Finance will provide an electronic platform for direct offering and redemption of government securities without the participation of primary dealers, and that government securities may be subscribed for, paid for and redeemed through the Bulgarian Post Office.
