site.btaBulgaria Records Third Highest Annual Growth in Services Production in March 2026

According to first estimates released by Eurostat on Friday, seasonally adjusted services production increased by 0.2% in the euro area and by 0.4% in the EU in March 2026, compared with the previous month. Bulgaria recorded the third highest annual growth among EU Member States with 7.3%, behind Hungary with 18%, Malta with 10%, and equal to Poland's 7.3%.

The largest decreases were observed in Romania with -3.9%, Denmark with -3.1%, and Austria with -1.6%.

Bulgarian companies saw annual growth of 4.8% in February 2026 and 0.3% in January 2026.

Bulgaria's services production percentage change in March 2026 compared with the previous month was -0.5%.
