The Kolko Struva (How Much it Costs) platform, on which the prices of groceries are published every day, will be upgraded with a mobile application with a voice assistant as announced by Todor Kolev, advisor on artificial intelligence and digital transformation at the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Transformation (MIDT), during a news briefing on Wednesday.

The ministry is also working on a Sigma platform, intended for transparent public procurement. Kolev said that each order will receive a risk assessment aiming for full transparency, reduction of rigged orders by 80-90% and saving hundreds of millions of euro to the budget.

He added that a portal for financing small and medium-sized enterprises will also be launched. There, entrepreneurs will find available programs, both national and European, and will see whether they meet the criteria, and the system will also help them apply more easily.

According to him, one of the main tasks of the ministry will be to build a centralized state data registry, a unified platform for official data exchange, in order to reduce the administrative burden.
