On the occasion of May 18 - International Museum Day, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) launched an interactive map and a news platform for the museums in Bulgaria. The map has been developed by the national system integrator Information Services Plc.

The gateway will pool news items filed by BTA's reporters and correspondents covering the cultural calendars and events from over 170 museums countrywide. The content of the interactive map is organized by region and settlement.

During a signing of a media partnership agreement between the Bulgarian Museums Association and BTA in Plovdiv on January 9, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev said that the content of the interactive map will be filled up with the assistance of the Association and the Bulgarian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
