Head of State Iliana Iotova and Bulgarian-speaking ambassadors discussed the development of the political situation in Bulgaria and the establishment of a regular government, as well as the expectations of Bulgarian citizens for a stable, secure and developed country. The meeting was hosted by the Ambassador of Austria Andrea Ikic-Bohm and the Ambassador of Slovenia Natasa Bergel, the press secretariat of the head of state reported on Thursday.

Among the other topics of the conversation were the need for timely and effective European policies to successfully resolve the present crises facing the European Union, as well as the European integration of the Western Balkan countries. The absent role of Europe on the world stage and in the negotiations to resolve the military conflicts in Ukraine and Iran was commented on, as well as the need to strengthen the role of diplomacy.
