site.btaBAS Chair Meets Algerian Ambassador to Boost Scientific Cooperation

The Chair of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member Evelina Slavcheva, met on Friday with Algeria’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, Asma Babouche, the Academy’s press service reported.

During the meeting, held at the Academy, the two discussed ways to strengthen scientific cooperation between Bulgaria and Algeria.

Slavcheva presented the history and structure of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, while Ambassador Babouche introduced the activities of the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology.

The talks also explored opportunities for signing a memorandum of cooperation between the two academies, as well as initiatives for researcher exchanges and joint cultural projects, the statement further added.
