site.btaSofia’s One Gallery to Present Christo Exhibition at Monaco Art Week 2026

Sofia-based One Gallery has announced its participation in Monaco Art Week 2026 as a co-organizer of the exhibition “Christo: From Drawings to Reality”, to be presented at Galerie Adriano Ribolzi in Monaco. The opening is scheduled for April 27 at 6:00 p.m., the gallery said.

The exhibition traces the relationship between idea and realization through original works by Christo Javacheff. It presents his art not as a series of completed pieces, but as an evolving process unfolding between concept, image, and reality.

The show is centred around two projects: preparatory works for The London Mastaba (completed in 2018) and a group of collages and drawings for Over the River. According to the organizers, while Christo and Jeanne-Claude completed around 27 projects, nearly twice as many remained unrealized.
